SALE OF THE HOUSE

Heard from my wife that the person buying our house may now be having problems and the deal may not go through. I hate dealing with these types of problems. We are ready to move into our new house early next month and now this comes up. I hope it all works out or I may be standing outside with "take me for free" sign.
Last nights mid watch sucked. I made it until 430am and then my eyes just got heavy and I dozed off for about 5 min. I don't think anyone saw me and if they did they didn't say anything. I guess I am just too old for night work.
Waiting for the real estate agent to call (www.ginaogle.com) to let me know what is going on. No matter what happens, Gina has done us good, it’s just all the bullshit you have to deal with living in a manufactured home and having Linda Betts being the major player down here selling the new houses. So if you live in this area, remember, JUST SAY NO TO LINDA BETTS!
Well that is my ranting and raving for this morning, I must really be tired to have taken 30 minutes to make sure I spelled the bitch’s name correctly.

WAY TO LONG

It has been a very long time since writing, we bought a house down south of us on a lake resort. On top of that, we sold our house so that is a double plus.

We have adoption on hold since the childs current foster mom decided she wanted him after all. It was a very big let down for me but we will find someone else and if that child ever needs a home he will have one with us.

well it's been awhile since i wrote anything. i guess i didn't have anything exciting to write about. not that anything i write is exciting. we had a little snow yesterday, not even enough to cover the grass. today we had a plumber come out to fix the shower but he couldn't fix it so we have to use the other bathroom until he comes back out. i will be so happy when we can sell this house and move to a new place. someplace where everything is a normal size and not just thrown together. although i am sure it will be sad to move from our first home.

Well, we got everything cancelled and today we get to go and get Dawnell a new drivers license, Dependent ID card and a new CAC card. That should take up most of the day. The Navy Fed charge still has not gone through.

Found out yesterday that we can't start the PRIDE class to adopt until January 06 which really sucks in my view. I want to get things rolling, but I can't have everything.

Maybe snow tomorrow!

WHAT A SHITTY DAY

Well it started out as a good day. We went to find a Geocache and when we parked the car and went out with the dogs to find the cache it was all fine. We found our cache and returned to the car, it was only about 15 minutes or so and someone had broken out the back window, stole Dawnell's purse and everything in side it. Within 10 minutes after that they had used one credit card at a gas station to buy beer gas and smokes. What ASS HOLES! I hope they get drunk and crash their car into a telephone pole.

We spent the rest of the day getting everything cancelled and changed. What a bitch of a day.

OH JOY!... my favorite time of the month again! watch what you say.. watch what you do... don't be to nice, don't be a smart ass, don't breath or snore... and whatever you do DON'T FART!

We went to an adoption briefing for older children yesterday. It was mostly about adopting wards of the state. It was interesting and they did have a lot of nice looking kids available. I am just worried about the special requirements. Although, I guess those requirements are with any adopted child. It is very depressing, it is almost like looking at the humane society website trying to pick out a pet. I don't know how far Dawnell is going to go with this. Ii hope she doesn't change her mind or decide it isn't a good thing.

i have been looking at adoption of a child. it is so expensive. all those kids with no one and me with no way to pay to adopt one. what a waste of human life. i am sure we could give a little boy or girl a good home and a great future. i doubt my wife would ever go for a loan to adopt...

Its ashame that two thousand American military have died in Iraq all for nothing. I know.. we are there to liberate the Iraqi people... atleast that is what they say now, what about all those weapons? It's was all a lie and I can't believe the American people are so close minded that they are not doing more to get our troops home. Yes Iraq will go into a civil war with out our troops there but that is something that Bush should have thought about before starting this stupid war. God, I can't wait until he is out of office. What a dick head!

Missed Two Days

I missed two days, nothing exciting happened, as is the story of my life.

Had to turn the heat on last night, just couldn't get comfortable in the house.

Stella is doing good, she went two days without an accident and then last night she had one. Just a minor set back i guess.

Friday's at work are not bad, no jerks around.

A boring Tuesday

Today I went and took Stella to the Vet. She has a cold.. Poor dog! Later I went to lunch with Jason who lives across the street and then we went to Home Depot where I got some grass seed.

Cut the grass and over seeded the lawn for next year.

Dawnell's dad came over and fixed our toilet tonight.

Tomorrow I have to work again... Weekends are just to short.

What an exciting life.

Monday

I got up between 430 and 5 this morning to let Stella out and feed her. Fell back asleep on the sofa with her on my chest until around 830. Went to Weight Watchers and weighed in, I gained 3 lbs this week, that is half of what I lost last week. Maybe it is my time of the month.

Went to Sam's club but didn't buy much. Had chicken on the grill and that is about it. Since it is Monday, Dawnell watches 7th Heaven tonight.

MY FIRST ENTRY

This is my first entry.

I just finished serving in the Navy for 20 years. I never thought I would make it all the way to retirement but I did. I had a good time while in but the last 5 years were my worst. I really hated the fact that I would have "W" as a "Commander-n-Chief". I can't believe Americans were stupid enough to elect him once let alone twice. What were they thinking when they voted.

It is Sunday and I have been at work since 6:30am. There is one person here who really makes the day a challange with his loud mouth and better than everyone attitude.

One good thing about Sundays is that it is my Friday. I have two days off. I like being off on Monday and Tuesday, most people are working so it isn't as crowded out and you can get a lot more done if you need any type of service completed.
